Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet is a combination of Albendazole and Ivermectin. It is used for the treatment of intestinal worm infections as well as infections of the blood caused by roundworms. This medicine works by killing the worm in your body.
Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet has some side effects like nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, weakness, diarrhoea, etc. These side effects may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid driving or operating machines if you experience dizziness.
Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet should be taken on an empty stomach in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Take it every day at the same time for the ease of remembering and for better results.
Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a low blood count, seizures, or liver problems including all your health issues and the medicines you use. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
- Uses / Indications: Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet is used in the treatment of parasitic worm infections and parasitic infections.
Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
- Side Effects:
- Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Increased liver enzymes, Itching, Dizziness, Swelling of lymph nodes.

- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
- How it works:
- Bandy-Plus 12 Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection.
